Help for building managers

Everything below is done in the management portal. If you cannot find a setting, write to support@domigate.com or call +389 75 215 449.

How do I invite a resident?

Open the building, the apartment, and add the resident. The portal shows a one-time code exactly once, together with a QR card, “Copy message” and “Print card”. Hand it over in person, by message or on paper.

The code works once and expires after 72 hours. Email delivery is not available yet.

A resident lost the code or it expired.

Open the resident’s row and issue a new code. Every earlier code for that person stops working.

How do I remove or suspend someone?

Disable the person. Their phone is signed out, their PINs, tags and guest codes stop working at the next sync, which takes seconds while the panel is online, and they stop ringing. Enable restores all of it.

Erasure is a separate, permanent step. See the question about data requests.

How do PINs work, and why can I not see one?

A PIN is shown once when you create it and stored only as a one-way hash. If a resident forgets it, use Replace: the old PIN stops and the new one starts in one step.

PINs can have a validity period, a weekly schedule and a use limit.

How do I add a tag?

Open the building, then Tags, then Add. Pick an online panel; it shows “Present the tag”. Hold the tag against it and the portal finishes the enrolment.

Tags can belong to a resident, to a household member without the app, or be service tags with a label. Today tags are matched by their number, so treat a tag like a copyable key. Secure tags are in development.

What are the QR codes on my building page?

Guest codes that residents make in their app. You see every property: who issued it, the apartment, the validity, the entries used. You can revoke one, or all the codes of a person, and reprint a card for a resident who lost their phone.

You cannot create one for a resident. The code belongs to them.

What does the access log show?

Every opening and every refused attempt: the time, the door, the method (PIN, tag, QR code, phone, portal), and the person or label.

Never the PIN or the code itself.

What alerts will I get?

Pushed to the managers’ phones when critical: panel offline, door controller offline, enclosure tamper, panel overheating, a burst of refused attempts.

Warnings in the portal: door held open, storage low.

“Controller offline” means nothing can open that door until the link is back.

Panel offline or controller offline: what is the difference?

Panel offline: the entrance panel lost the server. Calls do not work; PINs, tags and guest codes still do.

Controller offline: the panel lost the door controller. No method opens the door until it is back. The alert text says where to look: power, range, Bluetooth, re-pairing.

How do I get a recording?

Open Devices, then Clips, pick the event and press Request. The panel uploads that clip, you watch or download it through a link that expires, and the server’s copy deletes itself.

The request, the upload, the download and the deletion are all written to the audit log. Clips are not viewable in the portal before you request them.

How do I set the panel language?

Open Devices, the panel, then Settings, then Language. The panel switches without restarting.

An installer can force a language at the panel itself. The portal then shows “forced on panel”, and your next change takes it back.

A resident asks for a copy of their data, or for erasure.

Verify who they are, then write to privacy@domigate.com with the request. We produce the export or perform the erasure together with you, and both actions are logged.

Erasure removes the login, the push registration and all codes. The building’s access log keeps a record without the name. Portal buttons for this are in development.

How do I retire a panel?

Open Devices and press Retire. The panel is disconnected and refused if it reconnects.

Re-enrolling a wiped panel also requires re-pairing its door controller.
